Having played the Local Hospice Lottery in support of EACH for over eight years, it came as a shock to Barbara to receive the call telling her she’d won a massive £2,000!
“It was a bolt from the blue, but certainly a very lovely and welcome surprise. I’d forgotten I even played the lottery to be honest; my main motivation was to support EACH – I didn’t even contemplate the fact that I might win one day!”
Barbara and her husband Peter were presented with her cheque at the Hospice and spent some of their windfall on a family lunch.
