What Your Support Means
Our team of fundraisers work across the Country, helping to grow vital support for local hospice care by offering people the chance to join our Lottery. They operate door-to-door and at venues, Monday to Sunday, always wearing branded uniforms and ID, and represent both Local Hospice Lottery and our hospice partners. We understand you may want to verify their identity, so please check their details below or contact us with any concerns.
We work hard to adhere to The Code of Fundraising Practice which sets the standards that apply to fundraising conducted by all charitable institutions in the UK.

Our fundraisers are paid representatives who help to recruit new lottery players for our various hospice partners. Their input is vital in enabling us to grow both membership and income for our hospices!
Our paid fundraisers work door-to-door and at public venues across the Country – from the Highlands of Scotland to the south coast of England – representing both the Local Hospice Lottery and our numerous hospice partners.
All fundraisers wear branded uniforms and carry official photo ID. You can check their details on this page or contact us for confirmation or help if you have any concerns.
Direct Debit is our preferred method of payment, as this is the best way to secure regular support for your local hospice and ensure that you don’t miss a draw. To do this our fundraisers need to collect bank details at point of sign-up. Data is collected using the tablets they carry and is stored safely and securely, in-line with relevant legislation.

No, signing up with one of our fundraisers is entirely optional. You can take more time to decide if you’d like to support your local hospice by playing our Lottery and contact us afterwards if you would prefer. We never want anyone to feel pressured into joining our Lottery and work hard with our fundraisers to ensure that this is never the case. However, if we happen to get it wrong, please let us know so that we can learn from your feedback.
