Katharine House supporter, Ron, was delighted to receive the news in an unexpected phone call. His wife, Kay, is a Healthcare Assistant at the Hospice.
“It was a really nice surprise, I was chuffed. Kay has seen first-hand, the care which patients receive -the compassion and specialist support are second to none”.
Kay is currently recovering from three months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy but, once she’s better, the couple plan to use some of their winnings to take a well-earned holiday and will also, very generously, donate some of it back to the hospice.
