Jason’s son, Mason, is just six years old. He was born with severe brain damage and has Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. This means that Mason has no use of any of his limbs, he can't speak and he is also registered blind. Categorised by doctors as a ‘life limited child’, he was referred to CHAS'S Robin House in Balloch. We are delighted to announce that Local Hospice Lottery is now working with St. Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne! St Wilfrid's Hospice serves a local community of over 230,000 people, extending its care from the Hospice building in Eastbourne, out into surrounding towns and villages. The Hospice looks after over 1,000 patients every year. All of the services provided by St Wilfrid’s Hospice are free of charge and the charity needs to raise over £11,000 per day from voluntary sources including donations, the charity’s shops, gifts in wills, fundraising and through Local Hospice Lottery.
