Dorothy House Hospice Care is your local hospice and an incredibly important part of your community. During the darkest of times, when people can feel as though their lives have been turned upside down, the Hospice is there to provide comfort, dignity and the highest quality care - when and where it’s needed most. But with less than half of their funding being provided by the Government, they simply wouldn't be here to care without the ongoing help and kindness from local people like you.
Playing the Local Hospice Lottery for just £5 a month is an easy, fun & affordable way to help. PLUS it gives you a chance to win great cash prizes every week too!
We’re not-for-profit and through hospices working together, we are able to give back more from every £1 you spend than most other society lotteries. In fact, with the help of amazing people like you, we’re hoping to raise over £2,700,000 over five years (from April 2020) for Dorothy House through the Lottery. The more local people that play, the more the Hospice will receive. But we can’t do it without you.
Simply complete our secure form below (taking no more than a few minutes) to get involved today. Once completed, you will receive your very own personal welcome pack (containing a special thank you from the Hospice and your unique game number/s) in the post within 5 working days.
Your help WILL make a big difference to the Hospice staff, volunteers, patients, and their loved ones too. So from the bottom of our hearts - THANK YOU!

Sarah's Story
“Mum and I were always very close and I was stunned when she was diagnosed with a terminal illness. But then I visited her at Dorothy House in Winsley - I thought hospices were for one reason – you go there to die, and I expected it to be sterile and like a hospital. That was far from the truth – it was amazingly beautiful and the staff treated Mum with great dignity, kindness and love. Dorothy House is amazing, but it’s also essential. Everyone should have access to this level of support which is why I’d encourage as many people as possible to join the Local Hospice Lottery.
