Local Hospice Lottery Launch New Strategy to Double Its Support for Hospice Care!
In order to help ensure hospices can continue to deliver essential care across their communities, Local Hospice Lottery is delighted to launch ‘2030 Vision’, its new strategy aiming to maximise the organisation’s impact through effective collaboration with its 40+ hospice partners and 210,000+ lottery players.
Chief Executive Officer, Gary Hawkes said “Our new strategy, ‘2030 Vision’, has been developed with significant input from our partner hospices, our staff team and our players.
Since our inception, 29 years ago, we have contributed in excess of £70 million to hospice care across Great Britain – an outstanding amount, which has proved invaluable to our hospice partners.
‘2030 Vision’ sets out an ambitious plan and strategic pathway to double this amount in the next five years alone, contributing a further £70 million to hospice care by the year 2030. This is a really exciting time for both Local Hospice Lottery and for its partner hospices!”
Through further development of face-to-face fundraising, maximising business improvement techniques and technology, increasing awareness and delivering choice to new and existing partners, Local Hospice Lottery’s new strategy will lead to an exciting and fruitful period of growth, contributing a significant and sustainable source of income for End of Life Care for the benefit of patients and their families.
