Matthew’s £2,000 win in May proved lucky not just for him but also for Dorothy House Hospice Care, as he generously donated his winnings to the Hospice!
“Dorothy House has been fantastic for us throughout my mother’s illness back in 2020” said Matthew. Donating his winnings to the Hospice means other families can benefit from the same support offered to Matthew, his wife, Amy and their six-month-old son, Cooper.
Clare Way, the Individual Giving Fundraiser at Dorothy House Hospice Care, said:
“We are so grateful to Matt and his family for playing the Local Hospice Lottery in support of Dorothy House, we are also delighted to have received such a kind and generous donation. We really couldn’t do the work that we do without the support of our amazing community”.
Dorothy House is one of many hospices throughout Great Britain supported by the Local Hospice Lottery. With the help of their kind supporters, we have raised over £3,850,000 for the Hospice since October 2014!
